We're happy to announce that Bishop Malloy has approved a transition to the Virtus Teaching Safety-Empowering God's Children program in 2019. We are going forward with the sixth year of this training for the 2024-2025 school year. We will be offering this training in-class on campus, and there's an option for parents to teach the lesson at home with their children.

This program is by the authors of Virtus: Protecting God's Children for Adults. It offers a comprehensive approach to keeping children safe. Lesson plans are taught at an age appropriate level and repeat over a 3 year cycle. This year, 2024-25, is our sixth cycle or year 3.

For your reference, on the side bar to the left, there is the Overview of the Teaching Safety- Empowering God’s Children and Teaching Boundaries and Safety Guide. This booklet is an in-depth resource for parents to assist in effective conversations with your children about the dangers of child sexual abuse. Below are the videos that are shown to our students on our specific training day during RE class time.
