Home Communion/Anointing Calls
Communion is brought to those who are sick or unable to go to church on a temporary basis. If you or a family member would like to be put on the list for our home bound, please notify the Parish Office.
An Anointing of the Sick or sacramental communion may be received in the home for individuals who are unable to attend Mass due to serious illness. Contact the parish office to make arrangements.
Communion Calls - Centegra Hospital in McHenry
Our Ministry of Compassion (MOC) ministers to the emotional and spiritual needs of those who are sick and unable to receive communion at mass.
MOC brings communion to all in-patient Catholics every Wednesday at Centegra McHenry hospital, after attending 8:00 am mass at St. John’s. You are scheduled with another minister once or twice a month.
If you are humble, compassionate, and empathetic, please consider joining our ministry. You will receive much more spiritually than you give, by bringing Jesus to those that are ill.
